JournalGelagen for women: what the label says, in numbers
Gelagen for women is the same adult gummy everyone gets: two a day, 13 printed amounts, no women-only formula. Against female reference intakes, vitamin A reads about 90%, vitamin C about 27% and zinc about 34%. The label is not for anyone pregnant or nursing, because it carries preformed vitamin A.

If you want the label and the pack prices side by side, the order page shows them before any card details are asked for.

- One adult formula for ages 18 and over. No women-only version is published.
- Not for anyone pregnant or nursing. The panel carries 630 mcg of preformed vitamin A.
- Female references: vitamin A 700 mcg RAE, vitamin C 75 mg, zinc 8 mg, choline 425 mg.
- Against them, the panel is about 90% for vitamin A, about 27% for vitamin C and about 34% for zinc.
- Preformed vitamin A has a 3,000 mcg daily upper limit, and this panel is roughly a fifth of it.
- Biotin is 5,000 mcg, about 167 times its 30 mcg reference.
Is there a Gelagen for women formula?
No. Gelagen for women, as people type it, leads to the one product on the order page. The jar reads Advanced Gummies for Skin Health. The serving is two gummies a day and the audience is adults 18 and over.
The seller publishes no women-only formula, no women-only dose and no women-only study. What the label does say about women is a restriction: it is not for anyone who is pregnant or nursing. We cover the reason below.
How do the Gelagen for women amounts compare with female references?
Four of the 13 amounts have a different reference for women: vitamin A, vitamin C, zinc and choline. The rest use the same figure in our label tables. The share is our arithmetic.
| Nutrient | On the panel | Reference for women | Share (arithmetic) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vitamin A | 630 mcg | 700 mcg RAE | about 90% |
| Vitamin C | 20 mg | 75 mg | about 27% |
| Zinc | 2.7 mg | 8 mg | about 34% |
| Choline | 0.04 mg | 425 mg | about 0.009% |
| Vitamin D | 10 mcg | 15 mcg | about 67% |
| Folate | 442 mcg DFE | 400 mcg DFE | about 110% |
| Vitamin B12 | 6 mcg | 2.4 mcg | 250% |
| Iodine | 42 mcg | 150 mcg | 28% |
| Biotin | 5,000 mcg | 30 mcg | about 167 times |
The other four lines (vitamin E, vitamin B6, pantothenic acid and inositol) sit on our full panel guide.
Why is Gelagen for women not for pregnancy or nursing?
The panel names vitamin A as retinyl acetate. That is preformed vitamin A. Preformed vitamin A counts in full against an upper limit of 3,000 mcg a day, and intakes above that limit are linked to birth defects. Experts advise women who are or might be pregnant, and those who are nursing, not to take high doses of vitamin A supplements.
The 630 mcg on this label is roughly a fifth of the limit. On its own it is not a high dose. But a day’s vitamin A also comes from multivitamins, fortified foods and liver, so the total is what matters. The label’s exclusion is the simple rule, and it is the one to follow.
If you might be pregnant, ask your doctor before you start. That is the seller’s own advice for anyone who is or might be pregnant.
How do you add up Gelagen for women with a prenatal or multivitamin?
Nutrients do not know they came from different jars. If you already take a multivitamin or a separate biotin tablet, put the two labels side by side and add each row.
- Vitamin A is the row to total first, because it has an upper limit.
- Iodine is the second row. The panel prints 42 mcg, which is 28% of the 150 mcg reference.
- Biotin has no upper limit set, but a second biotin product only adds to a number that is already about 167 times the reference.
- A prenatal is for pregnancy. Gelagen is not, so the two are not meant to be combined.
Does Gelagen for women matter for thyroid medicine?
The caution on iodine is about the person, not the amount. People with autoimmune thyroid disease can react to intakes that are fine for others, and iodine taken with an antithyroid medicine such as methimazole can add to its action.
The panel prints 42 mcg, which is a small part of the upper limit. So the question is your diagnosis and your prescription. If you take thyroid medicine, show the label to your doctor first. Also tell the lab about biotin before any thyroid blood test, since biotin can interfere with some assays.
Can Gelagen for women be judged fairly?
Yes, with a plan. Write a start date. Take two gummies a day with a full glass of water before a meal. Take a photo in the same light on day 1 and again at week 6. The wait buyers describe is about 3 to 6 weeks.
Nobody has published a trial of Gelagen, so any change is your own record, not proof. Hair shedding that is new, heavy or patchy, nails that change, and skin trouble that does not clear are for a doctor to look at first. The safety checklist goes through the situations one at a time.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a women-only Gelagen?
No. There is one adult formula for ages 18 and over. The seller publishes no women-only version.
Is Gelagen suitable in pregnancy or while nursing?
No. The label is not for anyone pregnant or nursing, because the panel carries preformed vitamin A as retinyl acetate. Ask your doctor.
How much vitamin A is in Gelagen compared with the female reference?
630 mcg per serving, about 90% of the 700 mcg RAE reference for women, by our arithmetic. The upper limit for preformed vitamin A is 3,000 mcg.
Can I take Gelagen with a prenatal or multivitamin?
Add up both labels first, especially vitamin A. A prenatal is made for pregnancy and Gelagen is not, so ask your doctor before combining them.
Does Gelagen for women contain collagen?
No. The panel is 13 vitamins and minerals. Collagen, keratin and silica are not on it.
How much does Gelagen cost a day?
About $2.63 on two bottles, $2.30 on three and about $1.63 on six. These are arithmetic from the printed totals.
Our view
Gelagen for women is one adult gummy with a clear restriction. It is not for anyone pregnant or nursing, and the reason sits on the panel as retinyl acetate. For other adult women the numbers are modest: a part of a day for most lines, and a very large biotin figure.
Read the safety and interactions page before you order, and the home page for the whole product. Gelagen is a dietary supplement with no FDA approval and no disease claims. See a doctor first for new or lasting hair, nail or skin changes.

The order page puts the three packs, the shipping rule and the guarantee in one place. Read the label first, then decide.
