That sentence is required because the claims attached to the product are support claims: statements about how a nutrient contributes to normal structure or function. The FDA sets out what those are, and the regulation behind them is the line every sentence on this website is written inside.

What follows from it is the half people skip. No dietary supplement is FDA-approved, this one included. Approval is a process drugs go through, and it means proving that a specific product does a specific thing to a specific condition. None of that has been applied here, and a supplement that claimed otherwise would be making the one statement it may not make.

The registered-facility roundel in the artwork is about a building. Facilities making food and supplements list themselves with the FDA, and the listing records that they exist and what they do. It is not an inspection result and it reports nothing about this gummy.

The three supports the seller names are quoted as the seller's, and no trial of Gelagen exists to turn any of them into a finding.

The three are skin radiance and firmness, hair, and nails, printed in the seller’s own words and reproduced here as a quotation rather than as a conclusion. Two of them sit on a real nutrient literature. The first, skin radiance and firmness, has none that reaches this product.

The nearest true statement is about the body rather than the bottle, and it is worth having: vitamin C is required for the biosynthesis of collagen, and this panel prints 20 mg of it. That supports a sentence about the panel carrying a nutrient the body uses to make collagen. It does not support a sentence about this gummy building any, and the gap between those two is the whole discipline of these pages.

What is never written here: that the product treats, prevents or cures anything; that it is a remedy for acne, eczema, psoriasis or hair loss; or that any of the thirteen amounts will do a named thing on a named day. The FTC’s guidance on health claims is the standard those sentences are measured against.

And the observation the name invites, made once and as an observation about a published label: the panel is thirteen vitamins and minerals, and collagen is not one of them.

The sources cited across this website are about individual nutrients and about how to read a label. None of them studied this gummy.

Biotin is the clearest case, because it is the panel’s headline and the place this whole category overstates. Deficiency genuinely does cause hair loss and brittle nails, and correcting one helps. In people who are not short of it the picture is thin, and NIH says so in its own words: the brittle-nail work it cites is three small studies with no placebo group, none of which recorded whether the participants were low on biotin to begin with.

The systematic review of biotin for hair arrives at the same place from the other direction. It found eighteen reported cases, and in every one the patient already had an underlying cause of poor hair growth. Both halves are printed because printing only the first is the trick this shelf runs on.

The rest of the citations do a smaller and more honest job. The NIH fact sheets supply the reference intake each printed amount is read against. The federal labelling rule explains what a Supplement Facts panel has to carry. A shelf survey of skin, hair and nail supplements describes a sample of other products and says nothing about this one.

No sentence anywhere on this website carries a finding from a nutrient studied alone across to a gummy holding thirteen of them at these amounts, and none should be read as doing so.

The 3–6 weeks figure that appears across this website is the same kind of number. It is what buyers on this desk most often report. It is not a schedule, not a property of the gummy, and not a finding: it describes the people who bought here.

Skin, hair and nails also answer to sleep, sun, diet, illness and age, and they turn over slowly whatever is swallowed. A change in a nail only becomes visible once new tissue has grown out past the old, which takes weeks on its own account.

The foreign-and-domestic-ingredients seal is the plainest of them and, oddly, the most informative: it says the ingredients come from more than one country. That is ordinary for a thirteen-nutrient panel and it is the kind of thing most labels leave off.

The satisfaction seal is the odd one out, because it is not about the gummy at all. It is a promise about money: 60 days from the date of purchase, with at least 30 days of use asked for in the seller’s own answer. Both sentences are quoted in full on the guarantee page.

The words “Korean Technology” and a South Korean flag are printed on the label above the panel. They are the seller’s label art, and neither source says where the product is made, so nothing here reads them as a statement about sourcing, manufacturing standard or quality.

A lot code and a certificate reference are how a bottle is matched to an order and to a batch. They are not that batch’s test results, and this desk publishes none because it holds none.

Anyone taking prescription medicine, managing a diagnosed condition, pregnant, nursing, or booked for a blood test should take this panel to a doctor or pharmacist rather than to a website.

Two things on the panel make that specific rather than a general caution, and specific is the only useful kind.

The first is preformed vitamin A. Retinyl acetate is the form that counts in full against the 3,000 mcg daily upper limit, and the reason that limit exists is that preformed vitamin A above it can cause birth defects. This panel prints 630 mcg, about a fifth of the limit, and it is also why the label is written for adults who are not pregnant or nursing.

The second is biotin. Biotin at supplement doses interferes with some laboratory immunoassays, and the FDA’s concern is troponin, the test used to diagnose a heart attack, because the interference there runs in the direction that hides one rather than the direction that invents one. Its final guidance to manufacturers on testing for that is current.

The published human work on it starts at 10 mg a day and this label prints 5 mg, so nothing here predicts what happens to a given sample at this amount. The advice that does not depend on closing that gap is free and worth taking anyway: tell whoever takes your blood that you take a biotin supplement.

Two more get a line each. Anyone on an antithyroid medicine such as methimazole raises the 42 mcg of iodine with their prescriber, because iodine can add to what that medicine is doing. And the panel carries folate and B12 together, which is the reassuring pairing: high folate intakes can mask a B12 deficiency, and 6 mcg of B12 sits on the same panel.

Past those, this is a vitamin and mineral gummy for healthy adults aged eighteen and over, sold for skin, hair and nails, and it is not a treatment for anything.
